About me

The 2010-2011 school year will be my 12th year
at NBJH. Wow! I can't believe it's been that
long. Back in 1999, I taught 7th grade life science.
Since 2000, I have taught the 8th grade
physical science class. This is an introductory
chemistry and physics course.

This will also be my 6th year teaching the Blue Review
class. Students work in groups to produce a variety show
called the  Blue Review that airs on Fridays during
X-Block.

This will be my 5th year directing the
Channel 24 Morning News Program. Check out an
episode on the NBJH main site.

If that's not enough, I also coach Soccer and Boys' Volleyball!

I am a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, where I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Education. In January of 2005, I completed my Master's of Education degree at Saint Xavier University.

I have worked with children for many years, even prior to coming to NBJH. Most notably, I was the After School Adventure Club Director at the McGaw YMCA in Evanston, Illinois.

I grew up in Evanston and attended E.T.H.S. (Go Wildkits!) Currently, I live in Evanston with my wife and sons, Miles and Isaac.
